Passionate about nature and drawing inspiration from stunning landscapes, Andreea Dragne translates her emotions into abstract paintings. Microorganisms, captivating botanical motifs, landscapes, and satellite images of the Earth drive her motivation to experiment in an alchemic manner. She combines vibrant colours and textures, utilising ink, acrylics, and mixed media, with a specialisation in epoxy resin.

Andreea has been commissioned to create artworks for architectural settings and furniture, which have been prominently featured in various establishments. These include the ‘No Regrets’ tattoo studio in Bucharest, Romania, as well as the ‘No Regrets’ branch in Cheltenham. Additionally, her creations are showcased at the ‘Imperial Haus’ cocktail bar, “Chapter1” nail salon, and the ‘MUSE Brasserie,’ all located in Cheltenham.

Originally from Romania, Andreea pursued studies in graphic art at “Nicolae Tonitza” College in Bucharest, where she cultivated a fascination with the Abstract Expressionism movement. Since 2014, she has considered Cheltenham her hometown, where she began nurturing her artistic career. While primarily self-taught, she is committed to expanding her skills and techniques, which have empowered her to channel her creative passion.

In addition to painting, Andreea also crafts unique and exquisite jewellery using processes involving resin, clay, and electroforming.

In 2017, she had the opportunity to attend a resin jewellery masterclass in London, led by Kathie Murphy. Subsequently, in 2020, she participated in a masterclass that focused on electroforming techniques at Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence, guided by Luca Tripaldi.

Each of Andreea’s creations encapsulates a profound sense of emotion, drawing inspiration from the breathtaking beauty of nature.”
